1. Overview

Welcome to Lumora Craft Studio. The terms “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Lumora Craft Studio.

We operate this online store and website. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer our products and services to you.

These Terms of Service explain the conditions that apply when you visit our website, use our services or place an order. Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns and Personalised Orders Policy also form part of these Terms.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under Irish or European Union consumer law.

2. Eligibility and Customer Accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into a purchase contract to place an order. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when placing an order or creating an account.

You are responsible for protecting your account password and login details. Please contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Our Products

We make personalised house plaques and related products using materials including acrylic, natural wood, plywood, exterior finishes, mounting hardware and optional solar lighting.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, finishes, sizes and designs accurately. However:

• Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings.

• Natural wood varies in grain, shade, pattern and markings.

• Small differences may occur because products are individually made and finished.

• Product images may include display examples or digital mock-ups.

• The performance and charging time of solar lights depend on placement, daylight exposure, season and weather conditions.

Natural variations and minor handmade differences are not considered faults where the product otherwise matches its description and the agreed order details.

We may update, modify or discontinue products and options. Changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted without your agreement.

4. Personalised Orders

Customers are responsible for entering and checking all personalisation details carefully, including:

• Names, house names and numbers

• Address wording

• Spelling and punctuation

• Font selections

• Colours and finishes

• Size and lighting options

• Line 1 and Line 2 information

Where we provide a design proof, you must check it carefully before approving it. Production may begin after approval.

If the completed product matches the information or approved proof supplied by the customer, we are not responsible for customer-provided spelling, numbering or selection errors.

We may make small adjustments to spacing, positioning and letter size where reasonably necessary to fit the selected design. We will contact you before making any material change to the requested wording or design.

5. Customer-Supplied Content

By supplying names, wording, logos, images or other content for personalisation, you confirm that:

• You are permitted to provide and use that content.

• The content does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.

• The content is not unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory or offensive.

You grant Lumora Craft Studio permission to use the supplied content only as reasonably necessary to design, manufacture and fulfil your order.

We may refuse personalisation content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, harmful, offensive or infringes another person’s rights. If we cannot accept the content, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund where payment has already been taken and production has not begun.

6. Orders and Acceptance

When you submit an order, you are offering to purchase the selected product.

An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation and successfully receive or authorise payment. We may contact you if we require clarification about personalisation, availability, payment or delivery details.

We may refuse or cancel an order where:

• Payment cannot be authorised.

• Necessary personalisation information is missing.

• Materials or components are unavailable.

• A product or price contains an obvious error.

• The requested content is unlawful, harmful or infringes another person’s rights.

• We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

• We are unable to make or deliver the product.

If we cancel an accepted order, we will notify you and refund the amount paid for the cancelled product.

7. Changes and Cancellations

Our products are personalised and made to the customer’s specifications. Therefore, the standard change-of-mind cancellation right normally does not apply to these products.

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us immediately at lumoracraftstudiosales@gmail.com.

We will try to accommodate a request if production has not started. Changes or cancellations may not be possible once materials have been cut, engraved, painted, printed, assembled or otherwise personalised.

This does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or does not match the agreed order details.

8. Prices and Payment

Product prices are displayed in euros unless otherwise stated.

The price charged will be the price shown when the order is submitted and confirmed. Delivery charges are displayed separately during checkout.

A tracked delivery charge of €7.50 per order currently applies to delivery within the Republic of Ireland.

We may change prices or run promotions at any time. Price changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted.

If an obvious pricing or technical error occurs, we will contact you before production. You may proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected order for a full refund.

Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its payment providers. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

9. Production and Delivery

Most personalised orders are prepared and dispatched within 5–7 working days after:

• Payment has been received.

• Complete personalisation details have been provided.

• Any required proof has been approved.

If information or approval is delayed, the production period will begin after the required information has been received.

Orders within the Republic of Ireland are sent using tracked An Post delivery. Delivery normally takes approximately 1–2 working days after dispatch, but this is an estimate rather than a guaranteed arrival date.

Tracking information will be provided after dispatch. Tracking may take a short time to update after the parcel enters the An Post network.

Lumora Craft Studio remains responsible for the order until it has been delivered to you, unless you independently arrange a delivery carrier that we did not offer.

10. Delivery Address

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and Eircode.

Contact us immediately if you notice an address error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after dispatch.

Reasonable additional delivery costs may apply if a parcel is returned because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address or did not collect the parcel after an attempted delivery.

11. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your order is damaged, faulty or different from the agreed order details, contact us as soon as possible at lumoracraftstudiosales@gmail.com.

Please provide:

• Your name and order number

• A description of the issue

• Clear photographs of the product

• Photographs of the external and internal packaging where delivery damage occurred

Please retain the product and packaging while we investigate.

Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under applicable Irish consumer law.

12. Returns

Personalised products cannot normally be returned or exchanged because the customer has changed their mind.

This exclusion does not apply where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly made or does not match the agreed order.

Please contact us before returning a product. Where a return is required, we will provide return instructions.

13. Product Photography and Videos

As part of our regular business and marketing activities, Lumora Craft Studio may photograph or record the making process and completed products. This content may be used on our website, social-media pages, advertisements and product portfolio.

Customer information will not be shown publicly. This includes:

• Personal names

• Email addresses and telephone numbers

• Billing or shipping addresses

• Order and tracking numbers

• Payment information

• Postage labels and packaging barcodes

The house name, house number or other design wording displayed on the finished product may appear in photographs or videos. However, we will not identify or tag the customer or connect the product with their identity or delivery address without permission.

If a design contains a person’s name or a complete street address, those details will be concealed unless the customer has given permission for them to be shown.

Customers who do not want their product photographed or recorded may contact us at lumoracraftstudiosales@gmail.com when placing their order.

14. Installation and Product Use

Products must be installed and used according to the supplied instructions.

Customers are responsible for:

• Checking that the installation location is suitable.

• Using fixings appropriate for the particular wall or surface.

• Avoiding hidden electrical cables, water pipes and other services when drilling.

• Obtaining assistance from a competent person where they are unsure how to install the product safely.

• Placing solar lights where they can receive suitable daylight.

Lumora Craft Studio is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable fixings, misuse, unauthorised alteration or failure to follow supplied instructions.

This section does not limit our responsibility for a defective product, defective supplied component or inaccurate instruction where liability cannot legally be excluded.

15. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website content—including our logo, product designs, photographs, videos, text, graphics and branding—is owned by or licensed to Lumora Craft Studio.

You may view and use the website for personal shopping purposes. You may not reproduce, copy, modify, sell, distribute or commercially use our content without prior written permission.

“Lumora Craft Studio,” our logo and our associated branding may not be used in a way that suggests approval, sponsorship or affiliation without our permission.

16. Reviews and Feedback

If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other feedback, you confirm that it is truthful and that you have the right to submit it.

You grant us permission to display and reproduce voluntarily submitted reviews and feedback for operating and promoting Lumora Craft Studio.

Feedback must not be unlawful, misleading, abusive, defamatory, obscene or infringe another person’s rights.

We may remove feedback from our website where it violates these Terms, applicable law or platform rules.

17. Acceptable Website Use

You must not use our website:

• For an unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

• To infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other rights.

• To transmit malicious code, viruses or harmful material.

• To interfere with the security or operation of the website.

• To collect information about other users without permission.

• To impersonate another person or provide deliberately false information.

• To send spam or unauthorised promotional material.

• To scrape, copy or commercially exploit website content without permission.

We may restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

Our website may contain links to or features provided by third parties.

Third-party websites and services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their independent content, availability or practices.

Nothing in this section limits any responsibility we have under consumer law for services we select to fulfil your order, including payment processing and delivery.

19. Relationship With Shopify

Lumora Craft Studio is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our online services.

Sales and purchases made through our store are made directly between the customer and Lumora Craft Studio. Shopify is the ecommerce-platform provider and is not the seller of our products.

To the extent permitted by law, Shopify and its affiliates are not responsible for injury, damage or loss arising from products purchased directly from Lumora Craft Studio.

20. Privacy

Personal information collected through our website is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Because Shopify hosts our store, Shopify also collects and processes certain personal information to provide and improve its services.

21. Website Availability and Errors

We try to keep website information accurate and current. However, the website may occasionally contain typographical errors, technical issues, inaccurate availability information or interruptions.

We may correct an error and contact affected customers where it materially affects an order.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or completely free from technical errors.

22. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer rights or liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to applicable law, Lumora Craft Studio is not responsible for losses that:

• Were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

• Result from misuse, incorrect installation or unauthorised alteration of a product.

• Result from inaccurate information supplied by the customer.

• Are business losses arising from a product purchased for personal or household use.

Our products and website are not provided on terms that remove or reduce any mandatory guarantee, remedy or protection available under Irish consumer law.

23. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, postal disruption, transport interruption, fire, flood, power failure or interruption to essential suppliers.

If such an event materially delays an accepted order, we will contact you and explain the available options. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

25. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.

26. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the policies referenced in them and the confirmed order details, form the agreement between you and Lumora Craft Studio concerning your order and use of the website.

Nothing in this section limits rights arising from statements or information that legally form part of the contract.

27. Governing Law

These Terms and purchases from Lumora Craft Studio are governed by the laws of Ireland.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

Any dispute may be brought before the courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices or legal obligations.

The revised Terms will be posted on our website with an updated date. Changes will not unfairly alter an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
